I'm Robin Holland.

​

I've spent decades working with people on things they were trying to make, solve, express, decide or get into the world.

​

I've worked in advertising, software, books, businesses, brands and nonprofit initiatives — and on plenty of things that didn't fit neatly into any category.

​

Somewhere along the way I noticed that I'm unusually good at looking at what's already there.

​

The idea that got overlooked.
The useful piece nobody quite knows what to do with.
The thing that's gotten tangled.
The work that's almost right.

​

I like getting on the same side of the table with somebody and looking.

​

Sometimes I see something quickly. Sometimes we poke around. Sometimes we make something together.

​

Sometimes we simplify.
Sometimes we find the thing the work has been asking for all along.
